DRUMS: Simon Schröder
spielt seit seinem zweiten Lebensjahr Schlagzeug - Mit sechs begann er Schlagzeugunterricht zu nehmen und in Orchestern und Big Bands der Musikschule Dortmund zu spielen. Als Teenager entdeckte Simon den Metal und war häufig mit Deathcore- und Metalcore-Bands unterwegs, bis er 2012 ein Schlagzeug-Studium an der Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien begann.
Seit 2016 ist er als Live- und Studioschlagzeuger unterwegs und hat Konzerte mit unterschiedlichen Künstlern gespielt (u.A. mit Vinh Khuat beim Monsoon Festival in Vietnam, 70.000 Tons of Metal, Summer Breeze Festival, Metal Days in Slowenien..) Seit 2020 arbeitet er in seinem eigenen Schlagzeugstudio und spielt bei der Metalband "Persona".
Simon über FALL: "Es ist mir eine Freude, bei "Fall" dabei zu sein! Diese Songs einzuspielen, war eine Herausforderung - nicht zuletzt aufgrund der großen Bandbreite an unterschiedlichen Spielweisen und Stilistiken, die auf diesem Album vereint werden. Ich bin ein Fan von Musik, die eine große Bandbreite an Dynamik zulässt und bewusst damit spielt, um eine Geschichte zu erzählen.
Das ist Stefan auf diesem Album prima gelungen - die Emotionen kommen super rüber."
Simon has been playing drums since the age of two - At six, he began taking drum lessons and playing in orchestras and big bands at the Dortmund Music School. As a teenager, Simon discovered metal and was often on the road with deathcore and metalcore bands until 2012, when he began studying drums at the University of Music, Drama and Media.
Since 2016, he has been on the road as a live and studio drummer, playing concerts with various artists (including Vinh Khuat at Monsoon Festival in Vietnam, 70,000 Tons of Metal, Summer Breeze Festival, Metal Days in Slovenia...). Since 2020 he works in his own drum studio and plays with the metal band "Persona".
Simon about FALL: "It's a pleasure to be part of "Fall"! Recording these songs was a challenge - not least because of the wide range of different playing styles and styles that are combined on this album.
I'm a fan of music that allows for a wide range of dynamics and consciously plays with them to tell a story.
