BASS: LARS LEHMANN
Was haben Künstler wie U.F.O., Bobby Kimball (TOTO), Dave Bickler (Survivor), Simon Phillips, Konstantin Wecker und viele andere gemeinsam? Sie alle haben sich auf Lars Lehmann am Bass verlassen! Seit Mitte der 1990er-Jahre führten zahllose Tourneen den vielseitigen E-Bass- und Kontrabass-Freelancer mehrfach um den gesamten Globus. Über die Jahre hat sich Lars Lehmann aber auch als überaus gefragter Bassdozent einen Namen gemacht. Die „Popakademie Baden-Württemberg“ in Mannheim, die „Academy Of Contemporary Music“ in London, die „Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien“ in Hannover oder das international renommierte „Warwick Bass Camp“ (wo er neben Basslegenden wie Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, Alphonso Johnson, Bobby Vega, Stu Hamm, Adam Nitti und Gary Willis unterrichtete) sind nur einige seiner zahlreichen Unterrichts-Stationen. Mit „Slap-Attack“ hat Lars darüber hinaus eines der bedeutendsten Lehrbücher zur Slaptechnik auf dem E-Bass geschrieben.
Neben seinen musikalischen Tätigkeiten war Lars von 1996 bis 2015 Chefredakteur des Fachmagazins „Bass Professor“. Seit 2015 ist er Leiter der Bassredaktion des größten deutschsprachigen Online-Fachmagazins.

Since the mid-1990s, countless tours have taken the versatile electric bass and double bass freelancer around the globe several times. Over the years, Lars Lehmann has also made a name for himself as an extremely well-respected bass lecturer. The "Popakademie Baden-Württemberg" in Mannheim, the "Academy Of Contemporary Music" in London, the "Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien" in Hannover or the internationally renowned "Warwick Bass Camp" (where he taught alongside bass legends like Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, Alphonso Johnson, Bobby Vega, Stu Hamm, Adam Nitti and Gary Willis) are just a few of his numerous teaching stations. With "Slap-Attack" Lars has also written one of the most important textbooks on slap technique on the electric bass.
In addition to his musical activities, Lars was editor-in-chief of the professional magazine "Bass Professor" from 1996 to 2015. Since 2015, he has been head of the bass editorial department of the largest German-language online specialist magazine.
